Olympic National Park

Sept. 8-10, 2001

Tony and I went up to the Olympic Nat'l Park for the weekend. First, we stopped in Shelton, WA, and saw a little bit of John's rally race. Saturday night we found a spot to camp on the east side of the Olympics and went for a hike. Sunday we did a longer hike up a mountain on the west side to see the view. Then we stopped at Hurricane Ridge and drove on to Ozette and got a campsite. Monday morning we hiked throught the rainforest to the coast at Ozette (it was all foggy). After that, we drove down and saw the Hoh Rainforest then headed back to Portland.
