I went up to Seattle for Julia's 30th birthday the weekend of October 25-26, and Josh knew of a Halloween party for us to go to. As new arrivals to the party, we had to do a shot off the ice luge. They had a large jar of everclear, lemons and sugar they'd shake up and serve...this was referred to as "the baby".

On Halloween, a group of us met up and Joe's Cellar to enjoy the prompt service. We went to a party in NW Portland that Shelly knew about. Despite not knowing much of anyone there, it turned out to be a good time. I received many compliments on my garden gnome costume. I stayed 'til about 3am.

Wendy talked Nancy and Kevin into having a Day of the Dead party on Nov 1. It also served as a birthday party for Petra since her b-day was just a couple days away. We hung out there 'til around 1:30am, then I somehow got talked into going to Ember's for late-night dancing.
